Purposes and legal bases

Users

• Enable browsing and features that rely on cookies, per the Cookie Policy. Legal basis: consent where required.

Customers

• Handle booking requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Provide contracted services. Legal basis: performance of a contract. For certain services, we may request health information to assess treatment suitability; legal basis: explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR.

Need to provide personal data

Processing your information requests and managing bookings requires at least the mandatory data indicated in the forms. Refusal to provide such data prevents us from handling your request.

For SPA & Wellness access, certain health data may be needed to assess treatment suitability and ensure safe provision. You are responsible for informing MARE NOSTRUM RESORT of these circumstances and for the accuracy of the information. Legal basis: explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

You may also provide optional data via forms or contact channels, and you may allow the use of non-essential cookies as set out in the Cookie Policy.

Retention periods

Users: for the periods indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Customers: for as long as the contractual relationship lasts. For marketing and surveys, until you object or withdraw consent. For profiling, until you request restriction or withdraw consent.

Others: CCTV, up to one month unless longer retention is necessary to establish liability relating to recorded events.
